Bacon Wrapped Tuna Bites

Bacon-wrapped anything is amazing. But bacon-wrapped tuna? Game changer. This herculean hors d’oeuvre coats our delicious tuna in a protective layer of bacon that keeps moisture in while also slathering the tuna with all of that beautiful baconness.
Stomach rumbling? Chances are you have everything it takes to bake it.
Ingredients
- 2 cans Bumble Bee Solid White Albacore Tuna, drained
- 9-10 slices bacon, halved
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons thyme, minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
- toothpicks
Dipping Sauce
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons chives, chopped
- ⅛ teaspoon white pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix all the ingredients except bacon and toothpicks in a large mixing bowl.
Form 1 tablespoon portions of tuna mix into the shape of mini-sausages.
Wrap each tuna bite in ½ a slice of bacon then secure with a toothpick.
Place bites on prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes then flip bites and cook 10-15 more minutes.
Meanwhile, combine all dipping sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
